This
is a project run by the staff of a poor school in rural Uganda. They
are using their initiative to run and develop this project to take
volunteers at their school so that they make a small profit from the
volunteer fee with which to develop the school. There are no middle men
involved. They have recently completed all the necessary paperwork and
the project is now an accountable Government registered Community Based
Organisation - a CBO.
I have been working with them for more than
3 years now and recommend volunteering with them not just because of
the benefits that you will bring to them but for the wonderful time and
the real experience of Africa you will have working and playing with
these lovely children and staff.
