The Rotary Club of Havant working with the Rotary Club of Jinja
to provide food for malnourished children
from the Jinja area, Uganda
The
Jinja area of Uganda was afflicted with drought this year. This,
amongst other local conditions, led
to more than 'normal' numbers of
children suffering from malnutrition. Towards the end of the Rotary
year, the Rotary Club of Jinja allocated the money remaining in the
International Committee's budget to
providing more high quality
fortified food to help feed some of these children.
